Our agreement

These Terms describe use of Ultimate Chess League and its website, operated by ZinKai Labs LLC, Texas, United States. Read them together with the Privacy Policy. Where the game is distributed through Apple or Google, the store's applicable terms also govern your use of its services.

Who can play

The game is intended for people aged 13 and over. You must also meet the age and consent requirements where you live. If the law where you live requires a parent or guardian to agree before you use an online service, you must have that agreement. We do not provide a way to verify it. Do not create an account using another person's identity.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and give accurate information when registering. Let us know if you believe someone has used your account without permission. Do not share passwords or sell, transfer or exploit accounts. Guest progress may depend on the identity stored on your device; do not assume it can be recovered after removing that information.

Fair play and acceptable use

Use the game respectfully. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, automate competitive play without permission, harass other players, use unlawful or impersonating usernames, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another person's information. Report account or conduct concerns to [email protected]. We may restrict access when reasonably needed to investigate abuse, protect users or comply with law, subject to applicable consumer rights.

Purchases and virtual items

The game may offer optional purchases through the platform store. Review the price, product and any subscription conditions shown before confirming. Store receipts are checked to grant and restore game entitlements. Virtual items provide features within the game; purchasing them does not transfer ownership of the game's intellectual property.

Any recurring subscription continues under the store's billing terms until cancelled there. Deleting a game account does not itself cancel store billing. Use the relevant store's subscription and refund tools. These Terms do not remove any mandatory refund or other consumer rights. Test purchases and test ads are governed by the testing configuration; the alpha is not a promise that any later public purchase will be free.

Alpha availability and changes

The alpha is a testing release. Features, balance and availability may change, and interruptions or defects may occur. Keep any information important to you separately where possible. Material changes affecting paid entitlements will be handled consistently with store rules and applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted access or a particular competitive result.

Game content

ZinKai Labs LLC and its licensors retain rights in the game's software, artwork and other content. We give you permission to use the game for its intended personal use subject to these Terms and applicable store licenses. Do not redistribute its assets or use them commercially without permission, except where applicable law allows it.

Closing an account

You can delete your account from inside the game, or request deletion using the account-deletion page. Read its explanation of retained information and purchase consequences before confirming. A deletion is held for 14 days and signing in again during that period cancels it and keeps the account; we may change the length of that window for requests made after the change, and a deletion already scheduled keeps the date you were told. The window is not a guarantee that a deleted account can be recovered after it has passed. How a deletion is cancelled, including for a guest account that has no password to sign in with, is described in the Privacy Policy, and deletion and retention follow what that policy states; these Terms do not authorize retention beyond what that policy states. Deleting a game account does not cancel a store subscription.

Legal rights and disputes

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Texas law governs this agreement to the extent permitted by applicable law, without removing mandatory protections available where you live. Contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it. These Terms do not impose binding arbitration, a class-action waiver or a mandatory exclusive court venue.

Changes to these Terms

We will identify revised Terms by their effective date and provide notice of material changes where required. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits otherwise. The game makes these Terms available before account registration.

Contact
